YTÜ Philosophy Department, MA Program aims at raising academicians with deep knowledge in 4 different majors: Systematic Philosophy and Logic, History of Philosophy, History of Turkish-Islamic Thought and History of Science.

Students accepted to the program work to deepen their knowledge from their previous degrees, and improve their skills in research and academic communication to earn MA degrees. The next step is to set the foundation for their academic studies in their PhD degrees.

In order to graduate from the MA program, students should complete classes worth 24 credits, and are required to write an MA Thesis. Students are expected to complete their classes within the first two semesters, and start writing their thesis starting with their 3rd semester in the department.
